David Donkor

Bishop David Donkor is leader of Africa Assistance Plan (AAP). David uses a holistic approach to benefit the people of Ghana. First he approaches the leadership of a village and offers to drill a well After the well is benefiting the village, he offers them medical help. Then Bishop Donkor helps them to set up an educational system. Then, he offers a micro-economic system of loans to build small businesses. Finally, He offers them Jesus Christ and eternal life. Entire animistic-Muslim villages are being won to Christ. David also is broadcasting Christian teaching and practical living lessons over the entire Northern Ghana Area. In addition, to churches being established, Bishop Donkor has established a strong central church and Bible school to train Christian workers. Premedasa Ginigalgoda

Pastor Premedasa Ginigalgoda and his wife Nelum, pastor Church on the Rock in Panadura, Sri Lanka. A former Buddhist monk, Pastor Premedasa is gentle, loving shepherd of the flock and a spiritual leader in Sri Lanka, as well as a spiritual father. After planting various churches, the Ginigalgodas have pioneered a work in a stronghold of Buddhism, where no Christian churches existed. The plant has taken root and is producing fruit. They now have an orphanage, a strong movement among the youth, and even a church plant in an interior, unreached people group, similar to the aborigines. Persecution is an accepted fact in Sri Lanka, but the Church continues to grow. It seems to make the church stronger and the people sweeter.
City of Hope

City of Hope is an orphanage located in the hill country of Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka has experienced a tsunami and a civil war, both of which have left many children orphans. Thanks to Church on the Rock and partners from the United States, these precious children are reared in a safe, loving, Christian environment. City on Hope is managed by Naomi and Ranga Fernando, daughter and son-in law of Pastor Premadasa and Nelum Ginigalgoda. The orphanage currently has 58 children.
